Purcellville Preservation Association Membership
|
In our efforts to continue our dedication to promote community pride and awareness of the town’s historical and natural resources and enhance its environment through preservation and beautification, we need your help.
Your membership dues are critical to the financial support of our projects and administration of the organization. We are hopeful that you will take the time today to fill out the membership application as well as continue to support the PPA as we prepare for a very important year by submitting a minimum membership donation of $30.
During this very special year of our hometown’s CENTENNIAL, we hope you will get more involved in activities planned. On Saturday September 20, we will team up with Co-chairs Reggie Simms and Jay Johnson to host the EMANCIPATION CELEBRATION at The Carver Center. This important townwide event will be largely on our shoulders to plan. We have a small, but growing, committee that needs your support as we continue to coordinate the festivities.
Your membership this year will not only help support our coordination of Centennial activities but exciting programs such as an oral history of townspeople, a walking tour brochure, our website, the Historic Plaque Program, a tree beautification program and so much more!
Our membership meetings will be held the first Tuesday of every month at 5pm at The Carver Center on Willie Palmer Way off of 20th Street (across from Locust Grove) through May:
